Triton Festival - not this year, see you in 2012

We constantly get asked about the next Triton Festival and we greatly appreciate everyone's support and enthusiasm however we are going to have to skip Triton Festival this year. There's just been a lot of other work to be done, mainly been really busy working on the VampireFreaks.com website. We have over 1.5 million active members, if you're not already a member we suggest joining us!

See You Next Year!

Thank you to everyone who attended Triton Festival and made it a HUGE success! This was the largest industrial festival ever in the entire United States and we all had an amazing time. A very big thank you to everyone involved - our staff, the performers, everyone who attended. We're working on doing it again next year, will post information here when we do! This is it!

Now is the time! September, 3rd, 4th and 5th!!! Looking forward to seeing everyone at Triton Festival, this is gonna be AWESOME!

Weather Update:
There is a hurricane warning going up the east coast of the US. Good news is that in the past 24 hours it has been downgraded from a level "4" hurricane down to a level "3" hurricane and latest forecasts say that it will not hit NYC but will affect the eastern part of long island. We do have the bands flying in a day before their performance in case of flight delays so the performances should all go on schedule. Chances are we will experience some rain on friday but the festival is indoors and we're ready to make this a weekend to go down in the history books. The sea gods have spoken and we are ready to PARTY!

You do not need a festival ticket to get into Cybertron, however if you do have a festival ticket, bring it to Cybertron to get your festival bracelet early and skip the lines on Friday! We will also be selling Triton Tickets at Cybertron and at the Festival doors for anyone who does not have one. CYBERTRON INFO HERE

Only 2 weeks away!

We've received reports that one of the festival hotels is completely sold-out, but have no fear we still have 3 more hotels listed!
Triton Festival Tickets are still available but don't wait until the last minute because they are selling fast!
Band update - September Mourning is not able to perform at the festival, but we're pleased to announce Panzer Division has been added to the lineup!

TRITON FESTIVAL CONTEST
We are giving away a couple of backstage tours of Triton Festival to those who help us get the word out online. This is your chance to meet the bands, and have an exclusive VIP experience at the festival. Jet will personally take you and a friend backstage to come meet the bands and get some autographs.

All you need to do is make a post or two.

There are a couple of different ways that you can win:

1) RSVP to the festival on VampireFreaks. Click HERE, and say that you'll be attending. Seriously, that's it. Please note that this part of the contest is mandatory for your entry to count. ALSO: For another point, encourage your friends to RSVP as well. Like the status update option, just e-mail us with a screenshot* of your post.

2) RSVP to the festival on Facebook. Click HERE, and say that you'll be attending. Please note that this part of the contest is mandatory for your entry to count. ALSO: For another point, encourage your friends to RSVP as well. Like the status update option, just e-mail us with a screenshot* of your post.

3) "Donate your Facebook Status" by posting a link to the Triton Festival page - http://bit.ly/VFtriton - with a message encouraging your friends to check it out. After that, e-mail us a screenshot* of your post over to us. It should look something like this:

4) Post a tweet by clicking HERE. Please include the pre-existing text, and if you'd like, a message from you about the Festival. We will be checking the @VampireFreaks replies for entries.

5) Don't think we'd forget about MySpace and other sites.... there you are more than welcome to send out bulletins, and post blogs/journals/message board posts telling your friends about the show. Something like this (but personalized because you know your friends better than we do) would be a good starting place: I just found out about the Triton Festival, and I'm psyched. After seeing the lineup, I'm sold. Getting my tickets ASAP while they're on sale. Now looking for event / club promoters to host vampirefreaks sponsored events and triton pre-parties in your area! We will send you promotional materials for the upcoming Triton Festival including brochures and posters, plus freebies including vampirefreaks tshirts, frisbees, condoms, stickers, buttons, pens, any freebies we currently have in stock, to hand out at your event!
Promoters get VIP treatment and we will list / promote your events on vampirefreaks and on the triton festival website to get you extra exposure. Also we can get you involved in the official vampirefreaks cult for your area, and allow you to easily target members in your area for event promotions. Currently looking only for promoters in major cities (worldwide).

Recently on tour with VNV Nation and now supporting their 2010 "Strangers" album, System Syn have been gaining momentum with their dark EBM tunes. The brainchild of Clint Carney, also known for his horrific paintings and tattoo work.

INTERFACE
[NYC :: Nilaihah Records] Interface has grown an impressive following and doing great on the vampirefreaks charts. Their newest single "Body Flow" is taking dancefloors by storm. (Interface is playing at the Triton pre-party at Cybertron)

Triton Festival Website Now Up!
